The Lifelong Learning Program of Theologians and Priests of Thrace on Religious, Religious Diversity and Intercultural Religious Education, on the occasion of its expiration, organized an International Scientific Conference on “Intercultural Religious Education and Islamic Studies: Challenges and Prospects in Greece and Europe”.
This International Conference presented the findings of this Program and the training practices of intercultural religious education that have been used to develop intercultural skills in education. In addition, renowned teachers both in Greece and abroad proposed topics related to European education policies for inter-religious and Islamic academic studies today.
The Program was implemented under the auspices of the Department of Theology of the Faculty of Theology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with beneficiary the Research Committee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and with the co-financing of the European Social Fund and the Greek Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs.
